Independent data collection methods within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields for students who have blindness or low vision, have always been quite limited and usually dependent upon "sighted assistance". With the technological advances discovered during the ILAB Project, a whole new world of opportunity has now been opened for BLV students to access STEM! We make this access technology available so that the challenge of recording scientific information is removed or greatly reduced, making participation possible for all students.
Our products are designed to empower students by granting them an independent and safe method to collect real time data. Specifically designed for use with the JAWS® screen reader and other mainstream products already used in science classrooms, our technology integrates fluently with your existing laboratory experiments.
